Fairest Cape Part 2
After the most amazing past days it was time to head to Cape Town again as Kika my aunt was on her way from Pretoria for a well deserved holiday after a lot of hard work! And with yet another family member arriving things could just get better!

We got out just in time as the police in Gordon's Bay started closing down the road!!!

Ciel and I left for the Cape and then suddenly we took a detour, what a surprise! I was treated to a lovely bit of Cape hospitality. We drove past some of the most amazing little holiday towns, names like Kleinmond, Betty's Bay, Pringle Bay and Rooiels! After passing Rooiels on our way to Gordon's Bay we suddenly found ourself in a smoke cloud as the mountains was on fire. This thick blanket of smoke was an amazing light filter and the world around us turned the most beautiful greens and golds one can imagine!

The smoke was so bad that one could not even see the other side of False Bay!
We got out just in time as the police in Gordon's Bay started closing down the road!!!That evening just before we drove to the airport I quickly took this picture of the sunset with all the smoke!

We had a very late night catching up and having an amazing time. The next day we got up looking forward to the prospects of a lovely tour of the Cape Peninsula! The fire was put out during the night and by the time we where underway all the smoke had cleared and it was a beautiful day!

Fairest Cape Part 1
So I finally get my own blog up and running, and I thought it would be good to start at a new chapter of my life! I'm at last finished with school after twelve extremely long years and now it's time for my Matric vacation.
Unlike all my other friends I decided to not go with them and join in a large, wacky, irresponsible holiday but to rather visit some family in the Cape. It was the best idea ever and I enjoyed every moment of it! I started doing some part time jobs earlier in the year so that I could afford going there, I made enough and with that my plane ticket was booked and I only had to finish my matric final exams.
And so the day arose and at 13:25 I was up, up and away!
The view from my window over the Free State

Finally we could see the Atlantic, Table Mountain and the Mother City!
The last photo as we descended to Cape Town International!

At the Airport I met up wit Ciel & Errol who would be my hosts for the next month (you can ask all that knows them you don't get better!). My niece and nephew. Then we were on our way to a beautiful little town called Greyton, just such a lovely place!
And that is were I will stop for today hopefully the next edition will be up soon!
Bye for now JC
